Advancement of Children with Disabilities and Working through Educational Development (ACED)
The project titled “Disadvantaged Women’s Development (VGD)” is being implemented with the cooperation of the Department of Women Affairs and the implementation of the Prottasha Social Development Organization (PSUS) to improve the living standards of women members from ultra-poor families in Kushtia District’s Daulatpur and Mirpur. An overview of the project is as follows:

Duration: January 2013 to December 2022

- Provide training on income-generating activities (IGAs) and agricultural management

- Contribute to food security through restocking programs
- Strengthen veterinary services in rural communities
- Raise community awareness to create a foundation for sustainable animal health and welfare
Project Output/Outcome:
Through this project, the living standards of 5,870 disadvantaged female members have improved. By providing training, the members have been developed into skilled individuals in various activities and have been involved in different types of income-generating activities (IGAs).
