Block Grant Project ID BD027 Title MIVA Block Grant Disability 2023-Bangladesh Contract

With financial support from LF Netherlands (LF), in collaboration with the Center for Disability in Development (CDD) and the implementation of the Prattasha Samazik Unnayan Sangstha (PSUS), the MIVA Block Grant Disability 2023 project is being implemented in Chuadanga Sadar and Alamdanga Upazilas. This project focuses on providing health, rehabilitation, referral linkages, education, sanitation, assistive devices, transportation, and other support for disabled children and their family members. An overview of the project is as follows:

Time Frame: From July, 2023, to December, 2023.

Overall Project Goal: To provide fast services to disadvantaged disabled individuals through motorcycles. Printers will assist in printing all types of documents. Camera lenses will help document high-quality photos and videos. Laptops will assist in document creation, email exchanges, Zoom meetings, and report generation, along with saving all documentation.

Specific Project Objectives:

Objective 1: Provide timely services to beneficiaries and improve service quality.

Objective 2: Provide quality services, ensure proper service delivery, and make information gathering and documentation effective.

Objective 3: The project will play an essential role in providing health, rehabilitation, referral linkages, education, sanitation, and assistive devices for 340 disabled children and their family members through transportation and other support.

Objective 4: Beneficiaries, including parents, disabled persons, ultra-poor individuals, and women and men from the targeted areas, will benefit from the project.

Objective 5: Provide fast services using motorcycles. Printers will assist in printing all types of documents. Camera lenses will help document high-quality photos and videos. Laptops will help in document creation, email exchanges, Zoom meetings, reporting, and saving all documentation.
